"Success in today’s world puts a higher premium on character qualities," says Andreas Schneider. The ever-advancing technology has made today's world highly sophisticated. The length and breadth of the entire world have been reduced to a palm-sized global village. Thanks to the Google Earth Map! Well, it's all very good. But, has not the modern world become morally and spiritually bankrupt?
If the world has to transform for the better, education has to play a major role. Besides imparting academic content knowledge, educational institutions should focus on imbibing ethical values in their students.
This concept has been the major thrust at St. Patrick’s right from its inception. Along with the academic study, students are taught moral values for sound character-building. Seminars on relevant topics and career guidance programs are organized regularly for senior students to make them future-ready. On the academic front, the school has been recording cent percent results at the Tamil Nadu State Board Exams for many years in a row. With total dedication, hard work, and sincere efforts from all its stakeholders, the success story of St. Patrick’s is poised to continue unabated, even as it is about to reach yet another milestone - its sesquicentenary.

"Education is not about loading the child’s mind with information, but about making it capable of knowing life in its full depth and dimension."
Helping students discover this depth and dimension with the help of a powerful tool called knowledge is where we come in as educators. Students in high school are at a very crucial age, experiencing important transitions. They are developing their unique identity, establishing their independence, and defining their passions and aspirations. To this end, the school’s academic year is designed keeping in mind the physical, emotional, psychological, and cognitive needs and development of students.
The teachers of the High School Section at St. Patrick’s take the utmost care in imparting knowledge in a way that is appealing, using innovative methodologies and creating a comfortable atmosphere. Special classes are held to assist students who require individual attention. A strong line of communication is established between the school and the parents; tailor-made classes and activities are designed to ensure that students grow into sound individuals who are proud of themselves and confident enough to face the world.
Let me conclude by inviting you to help our students live by these words:
Be Yourself
Accept Yourself.
Love Yourself.
Value Yourself.
Bless Yourself.
Forgive Yourself.
express yourself
Empower Yourself.

“The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice”

Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic calibre but also to empower its students to be lifelong learners. St.Patrick’s has provided the best possible environment for the healthy development of young children by planning a structured environment, despite the pandemic, which has altered our lives, including our school system, teachers, students, and even parents. To a teacher, learning is a process of constantly updating in an ever-changing world. In this technologically fast-changing world, our school promises to keep up the pace, benefiting both students and teachers through well-structured classes.

St.Patrick’s fosters critical thinking, promotes human values, instills high ethical standards, and develops leadership and social skills apart from imparting education to the students. St.Patrick’s is resolute to undertake the most pressing task of inculcating a sense of dignity and purpose in life among all students. These stalwarts of St.Patrick’s have always been a source of inspiration and encouragement, leaving a lasting impression in the minds of the students.

“Every child is new seed which has to be watered with care, manured with love, nurtured with uttermost affection” At St. Patrick’s, we create faceted diamonds with copious cutting edge qualities. We value the apprehension of parents and help to develop the child’s formative years in the most responsible way. We produce proactive and progressive citizens for the country, for, it is easier to build strong children, than to repair broken men.

From the Primary Coordinator's Desk

Education at St. Patrick’s has always aimed at the comprehensive development of every child, in every arena, because children receive their first and most formal education at the primary level. The staff here are well-trained to cater to the needs of the young learners and help them maximise their potential in every way. By engaging students in various activities academically and non-academically, our young learners uncover many values and skills for life that foster their growth while staying true to their uniqueness and individuality. Strong emphasis is always given to language learning as we believe that, ‘A child that can read can make learning happen on their own.’

The school has been up and standing for 147 years now. The education provided here has created many skilled and competent individuals working in various sectors in different parts of the world. We are proud of every child we have assisted in developing as an individual. Dear Parents, you are a huge part of the school’s endeavour in the student’s formative years. Your constant support has led us to create this benchmark in education here. Together let us give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly.

“May the blessings of each day be the blessing you need most.”

Miss. Benazir S.

“We are the masters of our own success.”

St. Patrick’s Nursery School, deeply rooted in values and its comfortable infrastructure, resonates with its motto “Ora et Labora”, which means Pray and Work in the life of its students.

The nursery section of the school promotes high-quality education, holistic development, English immersion, and leadership skills. This eventually prepares our students to be life-long learners and successful global citizens.

We don’t just rely on the school syllabus and books to make children achieve. We also focus and motivate them on their LSRW skills, extra activities, and innovative events, which improve their thinking and inspire them to set goals and achieve them without giving up.

Let’s work together towards our common goal for our future generation.

Let’s always remember that

We can do it.

We will do it.

We are doing it.

We have done it.

Let’s plan our goals and stick to the plan.

Regards,

Mrs. Cynthia Selvaraj
