Rules and Regulations

  1. Pupils must attend school regularly and be punctual to class. They should arrive at the school at least ten minutes before the first bell is rung. Any pupil coming late will not be allowed to enter the class room without permission from the principal.
  2. Absence from school must be supported by a leave letter from the parent or guardian of the pupil. If absence, on account of illness more than three days, the application for leave must be sent to the principal accompanied by a registered doctor’s certificate.
  3. Pupils must come to school neat and tidy in their uniform. Pupils who do not come in full uniform will be excluded from class.
  4. Pupils absent from examinations will be considered as having failed, unless it is established that their absence was due to illness.
  5. No pupil is permitted to engage any of the school teachers of this school as private tutors without the written sanction of the principal.
  6. Pupils are not allowed to leave the school premises without permission from the principal.
  7. It is forbidden to write, scribble or splash ink on the school or

compound walls or in any way disfigure or damage school property. Severe action will be taken against pupils not adhering to this rule. The cost of repairs or replacement will be charged to the parent.

  1. Hands in pockets, slouching gait, untidy dress, dirty shoes, being unwashed and in the case of senior students, unshaven are considered misdemeanor.
  2. Courtesy to staff, visitors and fellow-students is expected at all times.
  3. Every pupil must take part in physical training and games unless declared unfit on medical grounds or exempted by the principal. 11. Pupils are forbidden to join any outside sports organization without prior permission from the principal. The school is not responsible for goods lost by pupils. It is advised not to bring valuable articles (expensive watches, fountain pens or gold ornaments) to school.

  1. Students are strictly forbidden to have cellular phones in their

possession on the school premises and if it is captured, it will be confiscated. A fine will be imposed and other disciplinary actions will also be taken.

  1. All pupils must attend the general assembly. Students will assemble class wise and absolute silence must be maintained while they get into lines and while going back to their respective classrooms.
  2. Fireworks are not allowed on the campus in connection with any festival or celebration.
  3. The school reserves the right to dismiss pupils whose

diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other pupils or whose guardians and parents show little interest in the progress.

  1. All pupils must participate in the games programme. Credit will be given for effective participation.
  2. The character certificates which may be issued to a pupil when leaving the school, will depend entirely on his/her behaviour during his/her school career i.e., on how he/she has kept the school rules.
  3. The pass mark in all subjects for all students is 40.
  4. The school has a number of clubs like yoga, music, maths etc. All the students are expected to be a member of at least one club.
  5. Students found copying or indulging in any other unfair means during examination will be awarded a zero in that particular examination and they also run the risk of being detained or expelled.
  6. For those students who fail to write any examination, the average of other examinations will be considered for promotion. No separate exam will be conducted.
  7. Students are expected to converse in English while in school, except during the 2nd Language session.
  8. The use of the school campus and school name to shoot videos for students personal social media for entrainment purposes especially while wearing the uniform is prohibited.

DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

PINK CARD ⚠️

To be issued to student defaulters for the following reasons:

  • Using unfair means during examinations
  • Irregular attendance
  • Improper uniform
  • Late coming [more than 3 times in a month]
  • Disrupting classroom teaching
  • Loitering in the campus during the class hours
  • Missing classes, Assembly, Club Activities, Library, PT, etc.
  • Misbehaving in the van

YELLOW CARD ⚠️⚠️

To be issued to student defaulters in the presence of the Coordinator and Parents for the following reasons:

  • Being disobedient
  •   Using abusive language
  •   Displaying rude or insolent behaviour with any teacher
  • Bullying fellow students and juniors and causing physical injuries
  • Damaging school property (a fine will also be imposed)

(If a Yellow Card is issued to a student, it means suspension from the school for three days.)

RED CARD ⚠️⚠️⚠️

  • Misbehaving with any teacher
  • Spreading negative influence among classmates
  • Bringing to school or giving narcotic substances or alcohol to classmates

⦿Three Pink Cards are equivalent to one Yellow Card.
⦿Two Yellow Cards will be equivalent to one Red Card.
⦿If a Red Card is issued to a student, it means suspension from the school for three weeks and expulsion from the school at the end of the academic year.
