The school follows a strict procedure criteria for admission to LKG.
The candidate should have completed 3 years of age on 30th May
An authentic original birth certificate of the candidate is required at the time of admission.
The application of underaged/overaged candidates will automatically be rejected.
Criteria for admission to Class XI for students from other schools / other boards.
The applicant should produce a good character certificate from his/her previous school last attended.
A candidate applying for Group A (Code: 1502 – Tamil/French, English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Comp. Science) should have an overall percentage score of 90 or above in the X Board Exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other recognized board.
A candidate opting for Group B (Code: 1503 – Tamil/French, English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology) should have an overall percentage score of 90 or above in the X Board Exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other recognized board.
A candidate opting for Group C (Code: 1702 – Tamil/French, English, Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Comp. Science) should have an overall percentage score of 80 or above in the X Board Exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other recognized board.
A candidate opting for Group D (Code: 1704 – Tamil/French, English, Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Bus. Maths) should have an overall percentage score of 80 or above and a percentage score of 90 or above in Maths in the X Board Exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other recognized board.
Criteria of Admission to other classes:
Admission to any class depends on the candidate's academic merit, good conduct certificate, and the result of the entrance exam and interview/.
No pupil will be admitted without the original Transfer Certificate and his/her Progress Report Card from the last school attended. The T.C. should be countersigned by the Education department in the case of those coming from states other than Tamilnadu.
If an applicant has any medical conddition, his/her parents should submit a written report about it along with a medical certificate to the sschool office at the time of submitting the application form.
Admission Process:
1. Online Application
Complete the online admission form on the school website www.stpatricksangloindianschool.com
2. Upload candidate's documents:
Birth Certificate of the candidate
Community Certificate of the candidate
Aadhaar card of the candidate
Passport size photos of i) the candidate ii) the father ii) the mother
N.B.: The candidates who are called for the next level of the admission process need to submit hard copies of the above-mentioned documents to the school office.
3. Assessment & Interview:
Candidates seeking admission to class I and above need to take a written test and attend an
interview.
4. Notification:
Selected candidates will be notified, and parents are required to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time. Failing this the admission may be cancelled.
Nota Bene
Admission depends on the availability of the seats.
The headmaster/management reserves the right to admit any applicant to the institution.
The final decision of allotting groups for class XI solely depends on the discretion of the headmaster/management.
Application forms with any kind of recommendation oral or written will be rejected.
No donations are accepted.
Admission is purely based on merit.
Certified sportspersons with high achievements in district/state / national level competitions and good academic results in the X Board Exam may be considered for admission to class XI under the special sports quota.
However, the allotment of the groups in this category will be solely decided by the headmaster.
