LSS - LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICE FOR STUDENTS

COORDINATORS AND CLASS TEACHERS

The coordinators of each section along with the class teachers are always available and eager to assist our students.
Whether it's sharing concerns or seeking guidance to overcome challenges, our dedicated team of teachers is here to support them every step of the way.

COUNSELLING

  • Our school counsellor is available for students, staff and parents to address preventive, developmental, and crisis issues.
  • Our counsellor engages with students as individuals, in small groups, or with classrooms, and is also available to parents.

INFIRMARY
  • If a student falls ill during the day, First Aid is given immediately at our school infirmary.
  • Depending on the severity of the student's ill health, parents are called to pick up the child from school for further treatment.
  • For this reason, parents must give their workplace and emergency contact phone numbers to the school office. Any change in the phone numbers must be updated promptly.
  • In fairness to all, please do not send your children to school if there are definite signs of ill health in the morning. We have neither the facility nor the personnel to care for sick children.

LIBRARY
  • We stress developing the reading habit among our students.
  • For this purpose, an exclusive period is scheduled every week for students to visit the library.
  • Apart from this, students are also encouraged to take library memberships and take books home which can be returned in the stipulated time.
  • Students should also be responsible for taking good care of the books.
  • A fair price will be charged if the book is lost or damaged.
ACADEMICS
  • Students must take all the notes, homework, assignments, and projects seriously and complete them meticulously.
  • Students must practice good handwriting focusing on the speed of writing, neatness, legibility, and presentation.
  • Students must meticulously plan their studies to excel in academics and mirror their hard work in class tests and exams.
USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
  • Students must refrain from creating internal WhatsApp groups which leads to misuse of social media.
  • Students must develop discipline in the usage of social media.
  • Students are not allowed to take photos or shoot videos of themselves in the school uniform for social media.

LOST & FOUND

  • Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their belongings.
  • All personal possessions including clothing, footwear, stationery, and books should be clearly labelled.
  • The school will not be responsible for lost money, jewellery, electronics, or personal possessions of any kind.
  • Students should not bring any electronic items to school.
EVERYDAY FOLLOWUP
  • Check your school diary every day for homework, and entries made by teachers.
  • Arrange your school bag according to the timetable and make sure you have all the required books in your bag.
  • Plan your study time for the evening.
  • Complete your projects and assignments on time.
  • Do not procrastinate your work.
  • Set aside some time for leisure activities.
  • Share about your day at school with your parents.
  • Set aside a specific time to develop the habit of reading and practicing handwriting.
